K-Life left yesterday and it was a lot harder to say good-bye than I was ready for. It was a great week with my small group girls, the leaders, and the rest of the kids, but I was so sad to see them go and I miss them terribly! K-Life meant so much to me in Denver, so while saying good-bye to wonderful friends and my sweet girls was difficult, it also represented that season ending and that the big changes were finally here.
(Week 2 K-Life crew)
At the end of the week though, Josh and Rachel made it to Granada!! Words can't express the blessings they've been in this transition. They helped me move from El Puente into the house I'm living in and unpack everything into my new room.

I'm still getting settled and it feels so weird to not see the K-Life kids or my friends around El Puente and to know that I'm not going back this time. I'm praying for comfort and peace from the Lord in this transition.
I'm still not certain as to what life in Nicaragua will look like now that I'm not here with K-Life. I do know that there are teams for the rest of the summer and I will be helping them at their ministry sites. I'm going to start going to staff meetings to get plugged in to everything else going on. Heather, who is helping me with school plans, is here and we want to start planning for that. I've been asked to teach English classes for the kids during the Friday bible studies and that will start next week. I also want to look into something for language study and start that soon. As I'm typing this I realize I do have an idea for what's to come, and it's finally coming.
Last thing: I've been asked about my address and I found out that it does work for getting mail! So, here it is…I'd LOVE letters! : )
