I am exactly 17 days out from leaving Denver and returning to Nicaragua!  As a vision for my time there develops, my excitement grows for getting back!  I want to share the details that I know, the plans that are in the works, and my most recent needs as this is quickly approaching!

Things I know:

• My initial focus upon arriving at El Puente will be helping with the busyness of teams coming in to serve the ministries of El Puente - VBS, a nursing home, a special needs school, a girls orphanage, and the Dump.
• While helping the teams, I also plan to hit the ground running with pre-school plans as my focus will shift into that more, come August.
• I've started gathering ideas for the daily grind of starting all of this up - schedule, activities, themes, materials, etc.

I say all that knowing full and well things will probably look a lot different once I get down there, but it can't hurt to have ideas!

Things in the works:

• I'm trying to tie up all the loose ends that come out when you live somewhere for 2 years. Or, better yet, the roots the take place.  Housing, storage, packing...
• So, I'm starting the process of going through my things and figuring out what to take, what to put in storage, and what to sell.  Phew.
• I'm looking a little more into the plans for pre-school to see if there is anything I need/can get on this side to help with once I'm down there - teaching resources, activities, school supplies...
• And, I'm preparing my heart for good-byes.  My first big good-bye was my roommate, Lanna, who left for the summer to work at T Bar M, and that sure did do a number on me.

Things I need:

• I need help with support.  My leave date is coming up quick (June 8) and with the generous gifts and the monthly commitments I have received I still only have enough to stay through September. 
• I have been so blessed with all of the contributions given up until this point.  I am truly humbled by the people that have found it in their hearts to join me.  Along with those gifts, I am asking for monthly contributions to be able to continue in this opportunity.
• I am also looking for businesses that have a matching program and would possibly be willing to match the donations given.
• I need your prayers.  Prayers that God would move in people's hearts to help me.  Prayers that I would not be discouraged in any of this, but only draw closer to the Lord in trusting Him with absolutely every detail of this plan.

I am confident that God has a plan to continue this opportunity for me.  I just ask for prayers that it is revealed before I am unable to continue work down there.  I can't do this without your help.
