It is a vision video from El Puente of what they're hoping to do in Pantanal with the Education Center.  For me, there is so much behind that video because when I watch it, I see so many prayers and questions answered and I see a place that the Lord has prepared for me.  

Two years ago I moved to Denver, Colorado hoping to get a job as an elementary teacher – I didn't care where or with who, I was just excited to have my Masters and begin teaching.  I was so confident.  Little did I know, God had something else in the works, and if I've learned anything in the last 3 years, it's that His plan blows mine out of the water.  So, with the confidence of getting my Masters and the excitement of a new city and new opportunities, I began the job hunt.  I drove hours upon hours, miles upon miles, sent email after email, and went to interview after interview, but continued to come up with "I'm sorry, but someone was more fit for the position as you just do not have enough experience".  I prayed the prayer over and over again that God would prepare a place for me, that a school would see my potential and go out on a limb for me.  I was certain I was in God's will, but after last summer I came to realize it was just a stepping stone for now.

So, when I watch this video it speaks to me in a way I have been waiting to hear for years.  It says that God does provide and truly has our best interest in mind.  It tells me that all along His hand is in our lives and the things going on.  All of those tears and all of those "No's", every discouragement and each disappointment, He was there and was actually perfecting the path He had chosen for me to walk down. 

I am truly honored.  I am honored to be moving to Nicaragua and I am honored to be a part of El Puente and the Education Center.  I'm still wondering what that will look like, but after these last 2 years I have full confidence that God is going to reveal it to me in His perfect timing.  So, please watch the video!  Watch it with all of that in mind and watch it with the people of Pantanal in mind and how God is in it to transform lives!
