Normally, I don’t particularly love Valentine’s Day.  I don’t dislike it, but it’s also not one of my favorite holidays.  But in Nicaragua the focus isn’t so much on the romantic love between two people or a couple, as love itself and showing it to those you care about – friends, family, boyfriends, husbands.  They call it Dia de Amor y Amistad – Day of Love and Friendship.  I love that!  : )

…and of course yummy desserts!  I had also found the 5 Love Languages quiz in Spanish and printed that off and we put cards out to write to family members and friends, which was a hit, surprisingly!  Every card was used.  : )

Until next time…

Much love!
